Bimmerhead.
I contact Bavarian AS last friday, and spoke to 3 reps in regard to this scalloped headlight trim for E-38 95~98 version. They disagree that a headlight trim for our machine is available. They claim the headlight trim is only avilable for the 3 and 5 series... pls. advise or give us the name of your rep. thanks ---D

I spent the day trying to "facelift" "Marie". After removing the front bumper to get to the two lower flanged nuts that secure the bottom of the '97 headlight assemblies, I wound up putting the stock rectangular trim pieces back on.
I successfully installed the scalloped pieces, yet it didn't look right. Apparently the glass lens for the newer assemblies has a deeper dimension than my OEM lenses. There were gaps where the bottom edge of my stock lenses showed at the center of the scalloped curve.
The afternoon's effort was not a total waste as I discovered much debris behind the electric fan and even between the transmission heat exchanger and the radiator. A thorough cleaning was the result.

:-)
