It's been discussed before. As far as I remember, the outcome was that there isn't any eays way to achieve this. Look up the discussion thread though.

I want to silence the chirp sound when I lock and unlock the doors with keyless entry. I would like to know if any body has upgraded to the newer one that just beeps lightly or if I just have to silence it altogether. It bugs me because it sounds to much like those cheap after market alarms that nobody pays any mind to. Help in this issue is greatley appreciated.
