They think they are the only dealer in town because, well... they are! you also posted that that all three in the area ar owned by the same person. Yes I have been there and don't care for their attitude or their prices but you know what... it's you and I and everyone else that tells them it's OK to be that way because there are enough fools ot there that think being ripped off is a sign of wealth (or prowess or something). I've been to dealer only use car auctions and guess what, they're marking up those little Z3 toys, used, as much as 10K (yes they pay about 18 for that 97 Z3 they're asking 27-29 for).

I am beginning to grin back at them though... it'll take a few more months but this economy will catch up with them... and that's when I am trading up... I figure summer is a good time to have my ass kissed by a salesman almost out of a job :)


Whatever you do, do not buy any BMW at this dealership. What give them the right to think that they are the only BMW dealer around? $15K over sticker for an E46 M3, $25k over for M5, and $100k over for Z8 is just insane!!! You got to be an idiot to pay this much!!! In fact, there was a sale rep there named Richard was just right out rude and snobby. If they charge this much over for the above, you know that they'll be over charging for all other model line-up. Make sure to do your homework and call around before buying you car.

P.S.
BMW dealers in Irvine, Long Beach, and Buena Park are all owned by the same owner. You should boycott these dealers if you are in the Southern California area. There are 30 BMW dealers in this area and a bunch more out of state.
