I think the newer model looks great with the crystal clear blinkers. I chose the "old" white version though, because I didn't know of any front blinkers to match the "crystal clear" glass, unless I upgrade to the 99-01 face/blinkers/headlights.

I need to replace my taillight do to a crack, is there an upgrade that would look better? What is the dealer cost on one light? Thanks

1. Buy a new OEM (amber blinker) @ $135.00
2. Buy a used OEM from one of us who replaced the amber ones with clear
3. Buy the Euro white blinker lights same price as amber
4. Buy the later model Clear Light assy including clear blinker section.
Big T's reccomendation on Circle BMW is right on, they took care of me and they know the lights issues with teh choices as well. The local dealers did not have a clue about most of the details, many tell you you cannot use the newer lights, but mine plugged and woirked fine on "Betty" 98 iL.
