Help! My 740iL is shaking at idle! What is it? (archive)

I have a 1997 740iL with 60,000 miles and all of a sudden it is shaking at idle. If I give it some gas, it usually goes away, but the other day, it would hardly go at all. Anyone had a similar problem or know what the fix is?
