One thing I didn't get was what you're talking about replacing all the bulb holders. Don't the tail lights come with bulb holders? Since they are sitting on the lamp assembly and not the wiring harness, I see no reason why you'd have to replace them.
the front corners are somewhat smaller, as you have discovered, and would require fenders from a 99' - 01' or a body shop to fill the gap. They should only be combined with the new style headlights though, so it will match.
The other problems you listed should be fixed by the shop doing your repairs. Either they are resulting from the accident or from the work performed.
I'll get back to you again, gotta run :)

We have the same year car and I thought you would have responded to my post from a couple of days ago. Today I got most of the bulb holders and they work fine. $5 dollars x 10. My dealer didn't have enough of them so a few are on order. So now my problems are: drivers side seat belt doesnt retract at all.
sunroof dead
side mirrors not painted
ac never got charged with freon
possible exhaust leak (could be my imagination)
The guy who did the work is very good though and he got me a LOT of extra stuff. Everything was replaced OEM including both fenders (even though nothing happened on the left side, new hood and ALL new lights. Also got a belt replaced for free. Looks like a brand new (or at least a 2000) car.
I picked it up unfinished so I could have it for the weekend. I'm sure there'll be no problem getting everything squared away.
