FOR SALE: 2 Yokohama A520's (255/40 ZR17) Wash. DC (archive)

I have two Yokohama A520's for sale. Both were installed on the rear of my E34 535iM, and are 255/40 ZR17. They are about half-worn, with 1/8" to 5/16" of tread depth left. They have been rotated between the left and right sides of the car once, but the treadblocks on the inside shoulder of each tire still exhibit more camber wear (see pictures below - I'd recommend that the next owner install these tires with the "fresh" shoulder on the inside of their car to even out the wear).

These tires have never been raced, autocrossed, punctured, or repaired in any way. They performed excellently until I replaced them with new tires, and always balanced up without any problems. I have been very happy with the Yokohama A520's - they offer excellent dry grip and road feel, but these performance tires obviously cannot compare to all-season tires in wet traction. I'm asking $60/obo for both tires with local pick-up preferred in the Northern Virginia area. I would like to avoid shipping them, but if I have to ship them, buyer pays shipping of course. For reference, Tire Rack sells the A520 in 255/40 ZR17 for $128 each + shipping (~$275 total for two).
