First, go out to the Wherehouse or Radio shack and buy a CD lense cleaner kit. Use it to see if it makes any improvement since a dirty laser lens may cause your trouble. Second, make sure that the air inside and surrounding the cd changer is dry, if it is too humid, the water vapor is formed on the laser lense and it will create problem reading the disc too. I hope these help.
