From the Stealer. They will grunt a little but they can easily (and did for me) look it up by VIN. You're probably better off stopping by their imagineering department in person. Any service imagineers can quickly look it up and print a history for you. You may have to bug them for the codes (mine just listed a bunch of service codes by date).

Having had my 98IL for only two months, I am curious about the service history of the vehicle. The previous owner stated that all service was done by the dealer except for oil changes that he had done at an idependent every 5K miles. However, there are no markings on the service history manual indicating that anything has been done.

Has anyone obtained history from BMW dealer? Are they willing to provide this information? And is it worth worring about when it appears that most of the service relates to fluid & filters which is something that I can and will do anyway.

Thanks to all for the support,
DJ
