some E38 sales figures (archive)

I found some interesting sales figures for E38's for model years 1997- 9/1/00. If anyone can update these figures and add the 95 & 96 numbers...be my guest. The impetus for this came from a poster who was contemplating an E32 or E38 750iL purchase. I had just read an article about the E32 750iL sales figures and their kind of exclusivity. (E32-v12 exclusivity: there were only about 10,000 750iL's sent to North America from 1988-1994...7500 from 1988-1990 and 2500 from 1991-1994) "Ascot Green" emailed me and asked did I have sales figures for the E38-v12...I didn't at the time but this is what I found... 1997/750iL's = 1037...1998/750iL's=1041...1999/750iL's=694...and as of 9-1-2000/750iL's=422. This is a real exclusive group of owners if you ask me. The numbers above only equal 3194 vehicles...if the 95/96 models are added plus the rest of the '00 models we are looking at around 5000 vehicles. I wonder where the highest concentration of 750iL owners live?
