Sticky door lock button/solenoid door trim removal (archive)

The knob on the top of the drivers door (the one you push down to lock in the inside) sometimes doesn't pop up when you unlock with remote. So you have to lock it and unlock it again.
Can someone tell me how to you get the door trim off to get access to fix it so I don't end up ruining the trim.

Anyone done this ???
