Welcome here, you are in the correct place.

Can't help you much as far as the higher maintenance is concerned, having only had my '95 for 4 months. The 6 years/100k miles is the same on both vehicles, so you are concerned only on the so-called routine maintenance.

Good luck.

I picked up a 98 740il 3 weeks ago. Love it, but having second thoughts about not doing the 750il. Have a shot at a black/black 98 750il for about $7k over what I paid for the 740il. Both are BMW cert from dealer. Want the power and toys, but hearing maintenance is "higher". in service date is 11/97 - not sure how long maintenance was covered on the 750 - anybody know? both cars have 40k miles and are cert to 6 years/100k miles. Any thoughts would be appreciated. First time on your board, so sorry if I'm in the wrong place or space.
