Engine coolant temperatures will range between 190 F (87 C) and 220 F (104 C) during operation if you thermostat is working correctly. I would say yours is with in range.

Could anyone tell me what is the correct engine temperature on a '95 740i ? Mine works at 96-102 celsius, and I think it could be around 90...
