It seems to be true that BMW quit putting VIN stickers on the fenders. They started stamping the vehicle instead. Thanks everybody for your input on this. My mechanic was wrong when he told me every fender should have a VIN sticker on it. He thought my car had been wrecked and the fenders replaced. I almost didn't buy the car based on this misinformation. Thanks guys!
