One question to consider is whether you have already incurred a lot of "fixed" costs (tax, license, any loss you may incur selling the 740 after a short time), etc.
I think you'll be extremely pleased with either car. And either one is certified for a few more years.
Unless you can unwind the 740 deal at little or no cost, why not keep the 740, and in a few years (when you get your next car) you can decide 740 vs 750.
Thanks for responding. I can get out of the deal for around $500. I have bought 4 cars from this dealer in the past 2 years. My logic was that for $7k more I could avoid a bunch of work I was going to do on the 740il - $2k for Dinan chip, trans and cold air. $1k for xenon. $2k for wheels (I am ok with 750 wheels, but have stock 740 wheels which are everywhere). Seemed like it made sense to just move up to the bigger dog, but heard some negatives on the maintenance cost. thoughts?? thx......kt
