I have used this to glue the rubber gasket under the hood on my 98 iL which was torn. This adhesive is black and very sticky. It should hold this in place given the right combination of cleaning the surfaces, and clamping while it dries. Since it is balck, it wont show if any should oose out under clamp pressure. I purchased this from the local Ace Hardware store in the automotive aisle.
