I just had my car servoce there and was very impressed although I am bringing it back toredo the alignment. I did not bring my own parts but I gat a good impression from evryone at the shop including the owner so I'd expect he'll work with you. (You might want to find out what the labor is first or you may see it jacked up a bit to make up).

As a distant second try Michelangelo Motorwerks in Irvine (south, in the Irvine autocenter). He might also be willing.

I have had several experiences where major parts were available for less than half, sometimes 1/3, of the dealer price. Are there shops where they are happy to get the hourly rate, if I buy the larger parts after they tell me what to get exactly? Any such experiences? Any recommendations?
