The microfilters filter the odors/pollution/dust from the air coming from the outside of the car. The recirculations filters do exactly what they imply, filter the the recirculation air inside the car. The microfilters cost $80/set from the dealers. Check the archives, I think Big-T or someone found a good deal on them elsewhere. I have not priced the recirc filters.
