Hello, I have located a 1988 750il with a blown head gasket. I am not very mechanically knowledgable. Can anyone give me an idea perhaps how much am I looking to spend to fix this problem on a v-12 if the owner didn't drive it to death?

shop around for a used head. Chances are the head is bad or has bent valves. Where are you located? Compare repair shop prices. Try to buy the parts your self of the net.
