I got mine aligned at a non-BMW shop (same place I bought the car last year) and was happy with it. Same reason as you had - I just got my BBS 18" rims and tires, and wanted to have it aligned right away.

I'd be interested in hearing your report on the S03's when you have driven it for a while. I currently have the Sumitomo's and I'm fairly happy with them, but I do have thoughts on upgrading at a later point.

Any of you have thoughts on where to get a wheel alignment?

Is this a dealer-must procedure, or can any competent shop do the job?

I just got my Bridgestone SO3's and want to get an alignment right away. Thanks for everyones input.
