Anyone for a Wiring Harness Replacement? (archive)

I recently had my car in for a checkup when the "engine failsafe prog" light came on along with the airbag light. Turns out I need a new wiring harness in the car. Anyone had this happen and is it a sign of things to come. I have had the car about 4 months and it has been in the shop 3 times already for minor electrical fixes (locks, air, ) I do have a warranty and I think the car is great!
