I would say yes, try it. I'd be shocked if the car was any more than an 1/8" lower but you should get a softer ride when you hit uneven pavement.
Ride is way to hard. Reminds me of Corvette I use to own.

Would a change to suggested BMW tire pressure of 35psi to
235/50 in front and 39 psi to 255/45 in rear do anything other than lower car even more?

SEDC button does not appear to do anything except turn on a green light.

Goes around corners rear well except most of my driving is straight.
