on my engine, i use the degreaser that home depot sells for pressure washers. i use it with my pressure washer *always* at low pressure, never high. at low pressure, i cover the entire engine with the degreaser (which foams up), leave for 5 minutes and then spray off with my water hose. no wiping necessary, no scrubbing, no nuthin'. several people have commented on my engine being "detailed." it looks fantastic.

The region here is very humid and dusty.. and this is the main cause of the black-plastic part of my 740 getting whitish-dusty.

I used, several times, a moist cloth to clean it in order to give it this shiny look.. but it soon gets this rubber bits on it after it dries off...

What can I use to give it a very shiny and clean look ? Is oil dangerous ?
