I drove down to South Carolina and bought the 95 740il yesterday. The Car is SWEET. A few things on the car were not as expected though. The radio/computer led lights had a blank line running through the middle. I tried to get the dealer to put in another one but no go. So I spent another $430 on a new one. Wasn't going to let this small detail keep me from buying the car. Also needed the rubber gasket,seal that runs above the doors above the silver trim. $80 bucks for the each side and I went ahead and bought the plastic piece that runs on the bottom of the windshield (some dry rot on the corners) that was $45. So I ended up paying a total of about $20,600. The car also has the updated A/C controls. The service manager let me look at the "file" on the car and the prior owner did all the service work there. The car runs great, I thought I would be tired from driving over 10 hours yesterday, but with this baby I could drive all night. So thanks for all the help you guys gave me over the last few weeks.
