The Mother's car care products should be available at any reputable auto store. I personally have tried just about everything yet I always come back to Mothers. I use Lexol products for the leather, however I am planning on trying Color+ Products, as a friend from the local Porsche club has recommended them. I placed the link below if you care to check Color+ out.
As far as a maintainence manual for the E38, I have never seen one in book form. The last manual published by Bentley for the 7 Series included the E32, but not the E38. There is a CD available, which can be ordered by calling

Central Letter Shop Inc.
310 Fairfield Rd.
Fairfield, NJ. 07004
(973)808-9595

From what I am told, Central Letter handles the publication of all of BMW's bulletins and technical material. Ask them to fax an order form to you (if you have access to a fax machine) or have them mail you one. If this is not an option, perhaps the dealer can order one for you.

Good luck

Simeon
