Mike,
I prefer Michelins. To answer your question, it depends upon your intentions for the car. The MXV4 Plus is a very good ALL AROUND tire. They will compliment your 7er's ride in stock form. There are better PERFORMANCE tires, in terms of vehicle handling, however IMHO the MXV4 Plus is a good choice for normal street use.
