Check the user's survey on tires in TireRack's web site...great resource. I use it often for deciding which rubber to go with. Has millions of miles of user input. Based upon this and local users, my choice for upcoming purchase is Firehawk SZ50's and the local dealers just announced great sale prices on the weekend...awesome timing!!

There was a post here a few weeks ago about the "new" MXV4 tires. The poster said they didn't work well.

Unfortunately, I due for new ones and the Pluses are all that I can still find.

Any opinions? Are they OK? Other suggestions (stock 235/16 size)

Thanks

I was the person who posted the question about the MXV4 plus. Michelin has softened the side wall to improve the ride and make the tire quieter. I purchased two tires. A mistake. With tires on the back of the car the car was squirly and oversteered. If you want your car to perform like a Lexus the PLus is the tire. I am replacing the tires with Pilot XGTs. They have a 400 tread life rating and cost less than the Plus.
