All previous phones mfg by Motorola for BMW had the feature that you could toggle by hitting the SEND button - on earlier 7 series you could even do ift from the END/SEND button on the steering wheel. According to my source at Motorola , the Call Waiting feature was not specified by BMWNA. I would recommend that each consumer that would like this feture notify the BMW Customer Assistance line at 800-831-1117 to let them know you are disappointed in not having this feature on your vehicle. BMW will listen - after all the vehicles finally have cupholders!

But your suggestion does NOT work!! I tried this today and disconnected the call I THOUGHT I placed on standby..

Any other ideas or recommendations, Liz?

Don't mean to "dis" you, just that you're a BMW person who may have the pipeline to how we can toggle between call waiting calls.
