Thanks for the suggestion, but I got impatient and traced the wires myself. I managed to find a 540 w/DSP Diagram on bmwtips.com and verified the pinouts - they're all the same.

I'll post the pinouts again here if anyone needs them.

I still have a bit of investigating to do on the crossover freq's, but I think it will be easier to just swap out the amp. I think I'll lose the DSP, but it's not very good anyway.


Can anyone give me some info on the wiring for the amp in a 740il w/DSP. I am replacing all the factory speakers except those in the rear deck. I am also adding a subwoofer w/amp to fire through the rear ski hole. (Once I cut it open that is...)

Nominally I need to know the crossover freq's for the outputs on the factory amp. I also would love to get a wiring diagram w/color codes for the amp wiring harnesses.

This is a DIY job, so any help is appreciated.
