No, I don't have the nav and haven't looked into the mods shown in Jim's case in my own car yet.

I plan to yank the tape and DSP boxes to make room for a new headunit in the same space under the "garage" door. Given this plan, I doubt I'll spend any time fooling around with the mods to get preamp outputs anyway. My only remaining issue is how to keep my steering wheel controls active.

It is a feast to see Jim's work. Thanks Thaumaturge for the link. However, I don't have the Nav, so I don't have that tuner that Jim uses to get his pre-amp signal. Does it mean that I have to tape into the tape deck unit in the console. I already look at the connector on this deck and it is missing the pin-outs for the rear channels. My guess is that I have to tape into the deck and run the wires from the console back to the trunk to connect to the ADS amp. (yes, I plan to use the ADS 850mx to drive the system).
