I saw the E-65 last week for the first time. It was a 745i. I was not able to drive it but i did play with some of the functions, although not the i-drive. I only had enough time to observe it rather than play. I was very hesitant on wheather or not I liked it from seeing the pictures on the net and in magazines. Although seeing it in person had a completly different impression on me. I think BMW might have been a little drastic with its design but, ive felt the same way about seeing previous models, that i now like, for the first time. The E-65 had a prestigious and large presence. It was a little breath taking at first. I recognized the rear deck lid as beeing very simular to the Z-9's. The door panels were massive which gave a very rich and plush appearence. The only thing that was traditional to the front end was the grille. Other than that it looked different than what we are used to. But was still prestigious. Overall i liked the car. I would like to se the size of the iL version. Even this 745i was quite big. The car is definitely gonna be a head turner. At first you may not like it, but new designs always take some getting used to. Mike
