I absolutely agree. I'm also disappointed that BMW went away from the "cockpit" dashboard design. That is both functional and one of the most beautiful features of my 530.


I can't imagine not having the floor shifter to grab onto while driving or shifting. I don't know about all of you, but I use the shifter to not only Selectronic shift, but also to brace myself in the cockpit with my elbow on the center arm rest. I don't know if I could ever get used to driving a sports car with only wheel shift paddles.
