If they're smart, they will keep the price roughly the same . . . perhaps slightly higher.
It was intitially suggested that wheel sizes would be up to 20" -- which would make sense if you need to accomodate 17" brake rotors.
I sincerely hope they have a sport model with a more sporty steering wheel (with the same functions), because the standard one is way too bulky.

I agree, as a younger potential buyer and a computer person I have made up my mind. I'm still curious about the ten additional exterior colors they are added. Do you think the Sport Package will change anything rims, steering wheel, etc. I still wondering how BMW is going to price it. There is no mention of iL. I guessig the cost of the i will be around the iL current price.

Ok, I admit I have done a 180, but I REALLY REALLY like this car. Of course being a technoid, I would love to get in the cockpit and start playing. :-)

Did anyone else notice the strip of wood behind the rear seats? VERY classy.

The only thing that I'd change are:

1. Bring the door handles down to the character line like previous BMW's.

2. Make the front door storage bins the same on the E38. I really like being able to open the compartment and then close it.

3. Possibly remove the strip of lights across the trunklid.

That's it, those are my gripes.
