Mr. Jaddates, allow I suggest you read Alans response carefully? I would have emailed you privately but you seemed to leave out your email address in an interestingly evasive manuever. I can understand a post using abusive and insulting language once in a great while. I was guilty of that myself not too long ago. However your recent and steady course to pester my friends on this board has been noted. Caution would be a prudent I think.
To Alan: Thank you again for your rapid response to my queries and I didn't think you would oppose letting the e38 board know of the upcoming changes.
> 2. When is the e65 board going to be created? The e38 board is a mess. The X5 board was up and running long before the car came out and same with the mini. There isn't so much of a problem with flame bait as it is the e38 crowd can't seem to get on to business with their cars. So much about the new car, which needs to be on it's own board.
Soon! Charlie and I were just talking about this today. I was browsing
the E38 board and saw how much traffic there was about the E65. Charlie
said he was going to be creating an E65 board very soon. It will go
on the new server with the new software when that is all ready.
Over the next few weeks, all of the boards should be moving there.
> 3. Roadfly has lounges for the e36 and e46 forums. When are the lounges going to be installed for the rest of the boards. The e32/e34 and e31 need them. Roadfly has experienced a huge increase in board users on these 3 boards and the OT content is such that a divider should be installed with the same effective results as the e36 and e46 boards enjoy. I love OT, jokes, pictures and stuff unrelated to the technical nature of the board, but for the person seeking an answer on a technical question then they have to weed through all the other stuff, self included.
I agree with you on this, and the other boards will be getting lounges
within the next few weeks as well I believe. We have been holding off
on new boards for a little while now while we've been beta-testing and
debugging the php front end and mysql backend. We had some problems
with php on the new server that required some changes to the first version
of the software Charlie wrote for the lounges on the forums.roadfly.com
