driver enviroment but no one succeed (remember digital Corvett, Taurus, ...) The driver dash basic design had not change much over 100 years. Same big analog gauges, shift on the floor, and intuitive control because these are what the drivers wanted. Give BMW credit for trying but I skeptical as auto history has shown thru out mankind the lesson: dont fool with man toys.

I bet BMW yanks it out and returns to a traditional system within a year. I think it will flop big time. It just seems funky. Otherwise, I think the E65 will be a success.
