Someone in my family once signed up for Nichols Research, but they were never called for anything nearly as exciting as this. Did you place yourself in a specific category or something?

No disclosure agreement was signed. It was Nichols Research in Northern California. They handle focus group/surveys/etc for any number of companies. It runs the gamut of consumer goods and services.

About 1 year before the Jaguar S-Type came out, I was called in for a focus group on the car. But we didn't get to actually see the car, we only had photos of the exterior and interior. Also, the group focused more on the ad copy for the car.
