From what I can tell, the backseat of the 745i is the same size as the current 740i. I imagine the Li will be about the same as the current iL. As far as waiting, it depends on your cashflow. The short-wheelbase 745i is supposed to base at around 72k, which is considerably more than the current i's base, and much more than what you can get the cars for right now. According to their spec sheets, the cars come pretty well equipped, but if you want the stereo upgrade, the shades, and some of the new options that are going to be available, I could easily see the 745i going for about 78k or more. It seems that they are pricing closer to Mercedes than ever before.

Has anybody seen the options for the new 7, colors etc?
