How to identify 750il Protection model? (archive)

Is there a way to quickly visually differentiate between a normal 750il and a 750il Protection? I've seen pictures of one silver 750il Protection that had 10-spoke wheels, and it had black body-cladding on the bottom couple of inches all around the car. Is that a unique characteristic of a Protection model?

There is a guy selling a 750il in some online classifieds and I am suspicious that it might be a Protection model and the seller doesn't know it.
