Because it's a much heavier vehicle and because it does NOT have the same "rear-end" performance axle as does the i sport, the iL is more a luxury ride than the i sport ride, which really blasts off from a stand-still! I test drove both and there's no comparison. The L version is fine for those who don't care about performance driving. Keep in mind, though, there's a night and day differance between the i sport and the L in terms of adrenalin! Me, I love adrenalin!!!!!!
