The way the repair CD read the cable runs along the underside of the car to the rear wheels. In order to replace this cable completly it appears you have to remove the exhaust system to get to it. Maybe Big-T has had his off and can tell us how bad it really is. Sorry to provide such scary news. Looks like a pretty big project. If I were doing it I would try to find a lift. I laying on my back and working up. Its a killer on us old guys. I have to get my wife to walk up an down my back to get the kinks out after a job like that. And that doesn't work as well as it use too. I guess I'm going to have to get a heavier wife or maybe she can carry weights.

Did you say under the DASH ? man its just a parking cable...
There's a small round piece of rubber that comes on the tip of that cable... i dunno what its called... I hope Big-T sees this post coz he once told me its called (something he knows about)...

but there is NO way im doin all this work if what youre saying about the exhausts is true... its kinda tough huh ?
