That's what I thought, but I did a complete search of the NHTSA site and could only find recall for 3 series (based on this problem). I could swear I read somewhere that it affected several of the car lines. What I can't believe is you can't find this info on the BMW USA web site.

That seems ridiculous as X5's, M5's, and 540i's have been burning up with this or a very similar problem.
