I guess this is just an odd chain of events that have happend to you and I feel bad for you. I on the other hand believe the 740iL is the most reliable vehicle I have owned. I have traveled through the desert to LasVegas 5 times and never had any ac problems. Im never on time for my service intervals, at one instance the service manager had to call me to come in. Im one of the many spirited driving 7series owners out there and have run into no problems yet. with 92,ooo miles on the clock and 6 years of driving I have never been left standed. On top of that the car runs excelent and still looks great. Even my E30 with the bullet resistent engine has left me on the side of the road a couple of times! I have a feeling that you have run into a lemon In that case raise hell!!! The factory makes great cars but some of their policies suck! Dont get a wanna be mercedes Ls430, and dont get a mercedes, theres a dude in my area that has a customized licence plate on his s500 that says "Rather be driving my 740 then this P.O.S."
