I only wish I owned a 740, better yet a Sport version, but I'm wondering has anyone besides me considered(or wondered about) putting an M5 Engine, and possibly Trans. into a 740i Sport? and if its been done are there any pics and performance #?

I have a 740i with the sports package. I would also like to install an M5 400hp with the 6 speed manual. I havent persued it because of the assumed high cost.
While visiting BMW at Spartensburg They had an M% engine under evaluation. I asked if it would fit in a 740, the engineer sayed that it would and even sounded a little exited. Maybe some day when a used M5 drive train becomes available.
