Can someone please explain the specifics of the following post by Simeon? Read on:

"I am interested so long as the kit includes the resistors needed to eliminate the 'Check Headlights' error message,
experienced because the E38 monitors resistance in it's electrical circuits."

I am about to install 2001 750il non-xenon (contoured) headlights into my 1995 740il. I understand everything fits and is compatible except for the minor fender fill-in under the indicator lights and the self-leveling pin modification that needs to be made. Will there be a "check headlights" error message upon completion? If so, can it be fixed? And finally, has anyone else here done this modification?
