The refurblished radio is not that expensive. The dealer who quotes your $600.00 is trying to rip you off big time. It was a defective in the radio in some older model year 7-series (95-97 I believe). I used to have the part number for the refurblished radio but I misplaced it somewhere. I will try to find and post it. I do remember that Circle BMW sells this part for less than $200.00 for this part.
