Yeah, it's incredible. Although, a 864 quad-turbo does sound hard to believe. If it's "armor" plated, then it may still be pretty slow.
606 horsepower and 666 lb-ft of torque is what the Dinan was able to get out of the 850 Twin-Turbo. They took a regular V12, bored it out to 5.6 liters, then added the Twin-Turbo.
They're previous non-bored-out rendition had a little over 500hp.

I don't believe Dinan ever did an Turbo work on the V12 fitted in the E38 750's, however. They can do intake manifold honing and exhaust, but that doesn't yield very much.

Thanks Simeon, but unfortunately I'll have to stick with a European company as shipping the 750 overseas and back is not something I'd consider. :-)

As far as I know, Dinan has no operations here. Racing Dynamics does, and we also have a pretty sweet company in Munich called Koenig (koenig-specials.com). I'll call Dinan and see if they can sell me the kit - or I'll bite the bullet and get the supercharger from Koenig. My engine is the older one - it must be, the car was manufactured in '96. Would you, by any chance, happen to know the HP/torque figures for the Dinan twin-turbo?

By the way, I saw an ad for a '00 750iL, modified in Russia. The asking price was about USD130,000, and it included armor plating, a 2000-Watt Bose stereo and a 864HP quad-turbo engine. Kinda hard to believe...
