Although Gary F's use of AR lens cleaner sounds very promising and I'd consider trying, I suggest Invisible Glass and a micro fiber cloth. Invisible Glass is made by Stoner and is simply excellent. It’s available at the automotive supply chains, i.e. Pep Boys. The micro fiber cleaning cloths are becoming popular and can be found at Pep Boys, Wal*Mart, Costco and several mail order auto detailing suppliers. These cloths are terrific. NO lint, highly absorbent, and NO scratches. I'm now using them all the time for all detailing jobs; interior and exterior.

Best of luck.

I know this is such a small item in the scheme of things BUT it drives me bonkers! I want clean windows and can't find the right formula. I have tired numerous window cleaning products and still have film on the inside of my 1997 740IL. No matter what I do, i end up with not so clean and clear glass. This is expecially problematic for the rear window and the windshield.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.
