It is a new car warranty extension that is purchased before the factory warranty runs out. The earlier it is purchased the less costly it is. It has very extensive coverage and offers wera and tear coverage which is important ot me as I plan to drive this car a while. Read up on as many as you can on the web, adn look for one backed by and insurance company to be safe (IMHO).
