ooohh...you're in for a world of hurt, so be prepared. First question:
Do you have the base system or the premium DSP system? If you have speakers in the rear deck, you most likely have the premium system. I'm assuming we're talking a US spec car, because there are more sound options in over there.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to know exactly what the factory sound system installed is? Does the head have preouts? if so how many? iS there a seperate sub out? who makes the speakers? who make the amp? what is the amp rated at? is the crossing over done at the amp/head and/or passive at the speakers?

I'm trying to add an amp and some subs to the already nice sounding system.
