My main point though was simply that you need to state your case to BMW, not merely tell them you want him out because you don't like him.

Also you need to understand the Chris Bangle is not (can not) be out there doing his thing on his own. I am certain that a whole slew of BMW top people are scrutinizing Chris' work. In fact you migh be surprised to hear what Chris or any other car designer might have to say in private about the extent of their creative preedom.

I simply posted this message for those who would like to participate (sign). Now if you happen not to 'want' to sign this then you might as well not be part of it silently.
If you honestly think (As you mentioned) that voicing one's opinion in such a way is, in one way or the other, demeaning then I consider your own response (or opinion) to my post contradictory to your statement !

2nd, Chris Bangle is not being attacked. You said its a market driven economy ? And it is... you dont just 'stay away' from things you dont like... you help prevent them from increasing if you can.

Probably nobody is gonna give this sort of attention to BMW AG, even if it does capture some sttention, once the design is out it can no more be changed for reasons that has to do with SFT-Contracts (I dunno what it stands for but its a contract between specific individuals performing certain services for the car company) In that case, changing the E65's design would definitely cost BMW AG a fortune...

Regards...

M.
